Winter 1998

Wahaaay. Here we go again. The Panksters are back in town on Saturday 12^th December to party the night away at the Phopres Club*. The last Generate was a great success cheers for bringing along the top vibe and up for it attitude. Even some piss heads who thought that they were special and should be admitted after midnight couldn't spoil the night. A big thanks to those who leant a hand in the show of numbers that helped show them that they were not welcome. The money made is being rapidly turned into new bass speakers, cabling and an aluminium tower that should be contributing towards making next Generate even better.

Admission for members is £5 (10% of each person's entry will go to charity). We will be serving teas, coffees and soft drinks from midnight. We are able to party allnight as we are hiring the venue for a private party for our members, and as such the door must remain closed. Please respect the above demands and we’ll all have a top night. It is a credit to you that we are able to have another all-nighter because of the respect shown to the demands at the last Generate. We did appreciate your patience queuing on the door. Having your membership card with you next time should hopefully speed things up.

The next Generate will be the last party of 1998 and the last party until the spring. Like Mother Nature Hanky Panky will be hibernating too throughout the winter months preparing for a rebirth in the spring. 1998 has been a phenomenal year of growth for us. It was a year in which many of you became Panksters and helped make it a success. The year saw ups and downs, many new paths explored and set higher standards for us to achieve. The plans for 1999 are bigger and better than any previous year. We hope you will join us on our journey through it as we stride towards the dawn of the new millenium. Since we began this journey two and half years ago the millenium has always been seen as the ultimate night to throw a party, a once in a lifetime opportunity. We begin the countdown in the spring.
