Midsummer 1998

The wheel of life is moving on with Hanky Panky continuing its journey along its enchanted path. The progress down the road was greatly helped by the top night had celebrating our second birthday. The soundsystem thanks all those who attended and contributed to what was a significant milestone for us. The friendly vibe and smiley faces on both new and familiar faces was a great boost after our three-month hibernation since the last 'Escapade'. 'Generate' lived up to its name, boosted our energy levels, helped towards purchasing a generator and inspired us onto the next offering.

The next installment of party wizardry will be at the London Brick's Phorpres Club on Saturday the 18~ July. 'Generate' will be running from 8pm to 12am with an admission price of £3. Look out for any information regarding a free after-hours party to magic you through to the dawn

The plan for the coming months is to keep putting on parties about every six weeks. We will be ploughing back in the money made at the parties along with our own investments. Decor, PA and lighting are constantly changing and we hope to build upon and improve them in order to offer better visuals and sound quality. We hope to locate a venue to do all-nighters in but Peterborough's licensing laws are back in the Stone Age compared to most other cities.
